My journey in estate agency dates back to 2009 when as a fresh faced 15 year-old I started with work experience & later a Saturday job at my fathers’ estate agency in Barnsley. After completing schooling & working in retail, I came back to estate agency for a small independent agent in Leeds before joining a regional, independent firm where I spent just over 10 years.
Working my way up through a strong independent market-leader was a great experience, and I was fortunate enough to be trusted to run offices after a couple of years, and have done that since 2018 before taking over one of the flagship branches in 2019. In 2025, they sold out to a large corporate chain, which meant it was finally time for us to take forward the strong community ethos we have but also return to being truly an independent, family run business.
We live in Barnsley, and we want to support our communities as we grow – but we’ve already got out on the front foot and supported local causes as we get going with plans to do much more.

My story in property starts with Andrew too, we worked together at an agent in Wakefield back in 2017, before he moved to another office in the same company. I moved around too, going onto senior negotiator roles across different independent agencies. For the last 4 years or so I’ve worked for agents here in Barnsley and know our local area inside & out.
I’m also our professional photographer, and having done more work in recent years it was time to put that to real use bringing together both of our pools of experience to put perfectly into Robinson Residential.
